Flower Essences

The discovery of Bach flowers came gradually. As he moved away from the canons of traditional medical vision, Bach approached Hanemannian homeopathy with ever greater conviction, up to the point of real vibrational medicine. Walking alone in the Welsh countryside, the naturopathic doctor began to feel the vibrations of the plants by touch. Over time, the conviction which then became the cornerstone of flower therapy matured: patients of different characters suffering from the same pathology must be treated with different remedies. It is not so much the disorder that is predominant, but the temperament of the person who develops it; it is from it that the medical art must move to restore general harmony.

Each of us has a unique experience, a reactivity to stimuli and consequently a way of relating to reality that is different from anyone else. Thinking of treating the same disorder in different people following a protocol is, according to holistic medicines, a contradiction. Although superficially it may seem that we are dealing with similar cases, we must always consider that each patient is unique and unrepeatable, and that his health, understood as the restoration of harmony with himself and with the environment, is an achievable goal every time with a different path.

The guide that can lead the flower therapist to the final destination is observation, as well as listening, of course. Analyzing the medical history (medical history) is just the start of the healing work. Pathologies and traumas are understood well beyond the physical matrix in which they develop, but as events that have had a weight also and above all on psychological life (as well as being the strict consequence); these must therefore be used as clues for the conquest of the treasure: health. In addition to them, it is necessary to pay attention to the way of speaking, gestures, uncontrolled reactions, what is not said with verbal language and the concepts that languish below the considerations set out in the patient's report. Once a theory and a treatment strategy have been "worked out", the messenger who will be responsible for carrying out the mission is water.

Water is the source of life. Whether one thinks of it according to the strictest scientific canons or embracing more spiritual or less recognized theories, this assumption makes everyone agree. The properties of water are numerous, but here we will not discuss the most well-known and easily observable ones, but the peculiarity of this extraordinary liquid to do something that no other substance in the world is able to do: convey information.

Homeopathic medicine and all vibrational disciplines are based on this ability of water to take charge of information and transfer it where it is required to stimulate healing .

By acting as catalysts, flower essences develop the innate intuitions that are present in each, but which are normally blocked. Once reached, thanks to the assumption of Bach flowers, spiritual, mental and emotional harmony springs in the person.

Underlying this approach is the idea that illness is nothing more than a physical manifestation of an emotional imbalance. This imbalance would be generated by a bad relationship of the individual with himself, and with the environment that surrounds him.

In this sense, the disease should not be considered either as a misfortune or as something to be feared, but as a tangible signal of an alteration of the most essential part of oneself. It is therefore a precious indication to rediscover the path to well-being.

Another positive feature of vibrational therapies and Bach flower essences is the fact that they are free of side effects and interactions or incompatibilities with any medicine, as they aim to resolve an imbalance. If a patient takes a flower dedicated to an imbalance that he does not personally present, there would be no adverse events.

Flower therapy remedies embrace a very wide range of problems. They adapt in a versatile and refined way to the specific needs of the individual, allowing each time to select the most appropriate and personalized therapeutic strategy. They can also be a valuable aid in all ages for psychological, emotional and physical issues.

To prepare a Bach flower mix, 38 different essences are currently available, each with its own particular field of action.

The use of flower essences is based on the principle that mental and emotional states generate the disease. If we admit that all animals, even those with a less articulated nervous structure, have the same human faculties to feel emotions, then Bach flowers can also be used in animals in the same way. 136bad5cf58d_

The study of the properties of flower remedies began in the early 1900s with Dr. Eduard Bach (1886-1936) who identified the properties of numerous flowers, thoroughly analyzing the emotional imbalances characteristic of his time. In the wake of Dr. Bach's studies, Australian Flower Therapy was born by Dr. Ian White, naturopath, kinesiologist and flower therapist.

Australian flower remedies were born in a later, more contemporary era and are more in line with the problems of modern man. Australian flower essences are characterized by vibrational frequencies capable of rebalancing problems relating to different areas such as sexuality, creativity, electromagnetism, communication in relationships, spirituality, etc. In the daily life of current life, man, who lives fast-paced rhythms, is faced with great stresses. Overwhelmed by haste and external problems, he lets important values such as communication and harmony in the couple and family, deep and disinterested friendship, the ability to listen and communicate without fear of being judged, slip through his fingers. Thus in the era of highly technological and multimedia communication, the human being paradoxically finds himself living in a state of isolation and loneliness. This can characterize every moment of human life, from infancy, to adulthood up to the age of senescence.

They are suitable for promoting the rebalancing of physical and psychological problems, and the numerous testimonies around the world confirm their effectiveness. The most plausible hypothesis is that the essences are carriers of very high frequency energy, which would act in resonance with the human and animal energy field.

Australian flower remedies are suitable for all age groups: children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. Today even our beloved animals, who share this beautiful planet with us, can benefit from the frequencies of the Australian Bush Flower Essences (ABFE).

To prepare a blend of Australian flowers, 69 different essences are currently available, each with its own particular field of action.

Once again thanks to Ian White, who with his infinitely kind and respectful soul (he thought of them too, creating) has dedicated an entire line of ready-to-use floral remedies exclusively for them, the "Universe Pets ".

The birth of Californian flower therapy dates back to the seventies, by the researchers Patricia Kaminski and Richard Katz who in 1979 founded the Flower Essence Society. It uses wild flowers that grow in an unspoiled geographical area on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada, California. Currently, 103 Californian flower remedies are available, each with a specific sphere of action. The mission of the Californian flower essences is to foster a true dynamic relationship between interior and exterior, between personal and social problems of modern times.

Patricia Kaminski and Richard Katz began their research work on new flower essences with the aim of discovering the therapeutic potential inherent in other flowers, different from those already known. In 1979 they founded the  Flower Essence Society   (FES), a company whose goal is precisely to expand the range of known flower essences. Assisted by a team of experts including botanists, doctors, homeopaths, psychologists, the two researchers dedicated themselves to the collection of wild flowers that grow on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada, in areas still untouched by pollution.

In compliance with the procedures dictated by Bach, they thus began to prepare and experiment with new essences. In a short time, the therapeutic successes obtained through the use of Californian flower essences were such as to generate an echo even in Europe, where a similar company, the "Laboratorie Deva", was established in France to start a research work similar.

But what actions can a preparation of a mixture of Californian flowers perform at a therapeutic level?

If the 38 Bach flowers continue to maintain their primacy in the treatment of negative moods, the Californian flowers are nevertheless no less important for the resolution of many ailments typical of the contemporary era.

The specific scope of action of some of the Bach flowers combined with Californian flowers created by the Flower Essence Society has proved invaluable in solving the problems of modern life. Suffice it to mention, for example, metropolitan discomfort, frustrations due to professional and career circumstances, problems related to communication and interpersonal relationships, crises between typically male and typically female behavior patterns, sexual and eating disorders.

To prepare a Californian flower blend, 103 different essences are currently available, each with its own particular field of action.

By now sufficiently studied and tested, the properties of FES Quintessentials Californian flowers are described in publications and repertoires translated into various languages. The research is still ongoing and the Flower Essence Society will probably be able to present an even wider choice of flowers in the future.

Some of the essences are not used for animals because their application on animals has not yet been tested. For other remedies, however, it is not possible to consider their use on animals because they act on extremely complex levels, more suited to human nature.

Being a repertoire still under study and updating, it is not excluded that in the next few years, there may be important updates also in the application on animals.
